Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026

1. Service description

Container Load Planner is web-based 3D load-planning software for ocean containers, road trailers and air freight ULDs. It helps you arrange cargo, review utilization, weight distribution and equipment options, and produce load-plan documents.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your credentials secure. Activity that happens under your account is your responsibility. Tell us at support@containerloadplanner.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

3. Subscription & billing

The full platform costs $199 per month, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the in-app billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not issue prorated refunds for partial periods.

4. Free tier

Analysis features — the 3D packing engine, utilization and weight metrics, manifest import, LTL and chargeable-weight panels and the equipment calculator — are free to use. Exporting PDF reports, saving plans and presets to the cloud, share links, product photos and AI capture require an active subscription. Features included in each tier may change over time.

Planning estimates — not certified advice

Everything this software produces — load plans, utilization figures, weight balance, linear feet, freight-class estimates, chargeable weight and AI dimension estimates — is a planning estimate only. It is not a certified stowage plan, not tariff or classification advice, and not dangerous-goods guidance.

The shipper is solely responsible for verifying dimensions, weights, securing and lashing, axle loads, freight classification and all regulatory compliance before any shipment moves.

5. Acceptable use

Do not abuse, overload or attempt to disrupt the service; do not reverse engineer, scrape or attempt to extract the packing engine; do not resell, sublicense or provide the service to third parties as your own product.

6. Intellectual property

The software, engine, interface and documentation remain our property. You keep ownership of the cargo data, manifests and photos you upload, and you grant us the limited right to process and store them so the service can function.

7. Limitation of liability & warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, detained cargo, rejected loads, fines or re-work arising from use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for the service or other users.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
